The origin of The Ring, much like many Hollywood thrillers, is rooted in an urban legend. However, this time, the legend revolves around a haunting video tape filled with nightmarish images. Those who watch this tape receive a mysterious phone call warning them that they will die within seven days. Initially skeptical, journalist Rachel Keller begins to change her mind after four young people who watched the tape die under mysterious circumstances one after another. Driven by her passion for investigative journalism, Rachel obtains the video tape and watches it herself, putting her life in imminent danger. Not only is she at risk, but her son’s life is also threatened. With the help of her friend Noah, Rachel has only seven days to unravel the terrifying secret behind the tape.
